ELK
Trails End Ranch is the home of a very large wild Elk herd. Private land hunters and visitors get the experience of a lifetime as they witness the annual rut featuring massive bugling bulls vying for the attention of the cows spread out across the irrigated meadows and through the trees at the base of the Sangre De Cristo Mountain range. Springtime blesses us as we witness newborn Elk calves and their protective mothers spread from end to end of the Trails End Landscape. The growing Elk population provides opportunity for highly sought after bull hunts each fall.
Mule Deer
Abundant Mule Deer grace the rocky terrain at Trails End Ranch. The great Mule Deer habitat provides plentiful food and protection year-round for does and fawns which attracts trophy bucks in the late summer and throughout the fall hunting seasons to this magnificent landscape. Buck hunts are offered during early season archery and/or through rifle seasons as well.

Pronghorn Antelope
Trails End Ranch has more than just irrigated meadows and picturesque hills, the open grassy plains of the ranch are home to sizable herds of Pronghorn Antelope. Trails End offers a limited number of archery or riffle antelope hunts each year.
Black Bear
Multiple Year-round flowing streams surrounded by small oaks provides a bountiful food and water source for the area Black Bear population. Limited archery or rifle hunts for these bears can be scheduled at Trails End Ranch.

Merriam’s Turkey
The live water, trees, irrigated meadows, and abundant food sources make for perfect Turkey habitat at Trails End Ranch. Large numbers of Merriam’s Turkey call the ranch home and make for exciting springtime hunts.
